100% Grass-Fed Bison Meat

Our bison meat is 100% grass-fed and finished, ethically raised, and harvested.

We sell bison meat by custom butcher only. (No wholesale, no individual cuts.) Available by the 1/4 bison based upon availability. Because we are very small, availability is extremely limited (2-3 bison/yr). We butcher in late summer/early fall.

Bison have 1/3 of the total fat, less saturated fats, and more beneficial unsaturated fats, including healthy omega-3s.
Bison is lower in calories, fat, and saturated fat than beef. It is higher in protein, omega-3 fatty acids, iron, selenium, and certain B vitamins.

How to Prepare

Bison can be cooked the same way as beef, but, because it is leaner, it can become tough if overcooked.

When cooking bison, cook low and slow. Due to less fat, bison cooks faster.
Bison is best when cooked medium or medium-rare.
Ground bison can be substituted for ground beef in any recipes like meatloaf, meatballs, chili, or tacos.
